Your role and responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer specializing in Test Quality, you will support the delivery team in achieving high-quality test outcomes by applying a structured approach, test practices, and technical solutions. You will utilize expertise in test optimization, automation, and analytics to drive accelerated business outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Implement Test Optimization Strategies: Apply a model-based Test Design approach to optimize test outcomes, and accelerate Test automation using the IGNITE platform. This involves analyzing existing test processes and identifying areas for improvement. • Leverage Cognitive Tools: Utilize cognitive tools and techniques to transform detection-based testing into prevention-based Quality Engineering, ensuring high-quality software products. • Drive Continuous Improvement: Prepare and guide the team on Quality Plans and overall Quality for the project lifecycle, emphasizing quality assurance and continuous improvement. • Deliver Technical Test Practices: Adopt and implement easily consumable technical test practices, contributing to improved time to market through integrated metrics and measurements.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

Exposure to Test Optimization: Familiarity with applying model-based Test Design approaches to optimize test outcomes and accelerate
Test automation using platforms like IGNITE.
Experience with Cognitive Tools: Knowledge of utilizing cognitive tools and techniques to transform detection-based testing into prevention-based Quality Engineering.
Understanding of Quality Planning: Exposure to preparing and guiding teams on Quality Plans and overall Quality for project lifecycles, emphasizing quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with Technical Test Practices: Experience working with easily consumable technical test practices, including adopting and implementing such practices to improve time to market through integrated metrics and measurements.
Analytics and Automation: Exposure to leveraging analytics and automation to drive accelerated business outcomes in a testing environment.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Test Automation Frameworks: Exposure to test automation frameworks and platforms like IGNITE, with the ability to apply model-based Test Design approaches to optimize test outcomes.
Advanced Analytics Tools: Familiarity with leveraging advanced analytics tools to drive accelerated business outcomes in a testing environment, including the use of data to inform test optimization strategies.
Quality Engineering Methodologies: Experience with prevention-based Quality Engineering methodologies, including the application of cognitive tools and techniques to transform detection-based testing.
