We are seeking a skilled DevOps Developer to join our IBM Cloud Privileged Access Gateway team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products, working with a variety of technologies and programming languages.

The IBM Cloud Privileged Access Gateway team is growing and looking for DevOps Developer. You will be responsible to provide secure and controlled access to cloud resources for our customers and partners in regulated industries (including the financial services sector).
In their adoption of cloud, large enterprises need to transform their legacy tools and processes into cloud-age concepts. IBM is committed to helping its valued customers in making that transformation. For regulated industries (healthcare, payment, financial services, and others), one of the key aspect of compliance revolves around strict control and traceability of system access, and particularly changes made to them.
The right candidate particularly thrives in coding and deployment automation, but also has a demonstrated interest for security and governance aspects, preferably with experience. Strong communication skills are a must given the global distribution of our team. As for every member of this team, we're looking here for talented individuals that demonstrate strong teamwork abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and automate platform solutions that support secure access to IBM Cloud infrastructure and compute resources
Architect the test automation and our pipelines in OpenShift and/or Kubernetes environments
Deploy and maintain automated CI/CD systems and tools for development and test teams
Partner with other teams, managers and program managers to develop alerting and monitoring for mission-critical services
Maintain the compliance and security posture of the environment at all times
Demonstrated hands-on experience with Cloud
8+ years of experience in cloud development and operations, on enteprise-grade systems
6+ years of experience in deploying and administering solutions on RedHat (Preferred) or other Linux operating systems
Experience with Container technologies: Kubernetes (IKS, GCE), RedHat OpenShift, Docker.
Proficiency with several programming tools: Go, Python, Bash, etc.
Experience with one or more of the virtualization technologies (KVM, VMware, etc.)
Working knowledge of one or more key DevOps foundation tools: Tekton, Travis, Artifactory, Jenkins and so on.
Working knowledge with monitoring technologies: LogDNA, SysDig, Prometheus, Grafana etc.
Working knowledge with Network and Storage technologies
An understanding of application security and information security controls
Experience with geographically distributed teams
IBM Cloud
Understanding of cloud security best practices
