In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer specializing in Test Management for SAP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of applications and systems implemented using SAP. Your focus will be on developing test scenarios and test cases, executing them to verify that the system meets the requirements, with a primary emphasis on functional testing. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Develop Test Scenarios and Cases: Create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases to ensure that the system is thoroughly tested and meets the requirements. This involves analyzing the system's functionality and identifying potential testing areas. • Execute Test Cases: Run the developed test cases to verify that the system behaves as expected and identify any defects or issues that need to be addressed. • Verify System Requirements: Ensure that the system is built as per the requirements by validating its functionality against the specified requirements. • Focus on Functional Testing: Concentrate on testing the functional aspects of the applications to guarantee that they meet the necessary standards.

• Exposure to SAP Testing: Familiarity with testing applications and systems implemented using SAP, including understanding of SAP testing methodologies and tools. • Test Scenario Development: Experience with developing comprehensive test scenarios and test cases to ensure thorough testing of system functionality. • Test Case Execution: Exposure to executing test cases to verify system behavior and identify defects or issues. • Functional Testing: Experience working with functional testing of applications, including validating system functionality against specified requirements. • System Requirements Verification: Familiarity with verifying system requirements to ensure that the system is built as per the requirements.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• SAP Testing Methodologies: Exposure to various SAP testing methodologies and tools, including understanding of testing best practices and industry standards. • Test Automation Tools: Familiarity with test automation tools used in SAP testing, including ability to identify opportunities for automation. • Functional Testing Techniques: Experience with various functional testing techniques, including black box, white box, and gray box testing.
