Introduction

As a student or intern in Technology Sales at IBM Storage, you will work closely with customers and colleagues in one of the most trusted and award-winning teams in the technology industry. In this role, you will directly support the Sales Leader and work closely with him, gaining valuable insights into strategic B2B technology sales.

In a collaborative, hands-on sales environment, you will support the sales team, contribute to customer and market analyses, and actively help drive the success of IBM Storage.


Your role and responsibilities
You will become part of our IBM Storage Community and work in an international, dynamic team. Step by step, you will take responsibility for your own areas, learn about the IBM Storage portfolio, and develop solutions to enhance cyber resiliency and efficiency.
  • Technical consulting and sales of the IBM Storage portfolio
  • Development of a compelling storyline for a defined vertical customer set in close alignment with the Sales Leader
  • Identification and evaluation of customer requirements in modern storage environments
  • Conducting demos and proof of concepts – show, don’t tell!
  • Customer interaction & opportunity identification: supporting and independently conducting customer conversations

What You Can Expect from Master@IBM Work & Study:
Financial independence from day one with an attractive salary
  • 1st year: €1,950 gross/month
  • 2nd year: €2,544 gross/month
  • 3rd year: €2,818 gross/month
Employment contract with a 38-hour workweek, including 10 hours per week dedicated to university studies
Master’s studies at a recommended German university of your choice offering part-time programs
(e.g., ESB Reutlingen, HECTOR School/KIT, FOM, and others)
