As a Brand Sales Specialist for IBM's Automation Platform, you will create demand and progress opportunities to close for Automation Platform solutions. This role involves driving sales efforts for a wide range of products, including Cloud Pak for Applications, DevOps, and WebSphere Application Server. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Develop Demand Opportunities: Create and identify new sales opportunities for Automation Platform solutions through various channels, including existing customer relationships and new business development.
• Progress Opportunities to Close: Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions using IBM's Automation Platform products, ultimately driving sales growth and revenue.
• Solution Delivery: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
• Maintain Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on IBM's Automation Platform products, including new releases and updates, to effectively communicate their value to customers.
• Drive Sales Efforts: Utilize sales methodologies and best practices to drive sales efforts and achieve sales targets.
*Technical Education: Completed technical degree such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
*Communication and Language Skills: Possess excellent communication and presentation skills that are engaging, compelling and influential.
*English & Spanish Language proficiency requested.
*Analytical Skills with a focus on using data for decision-making and achieving positive business outcomes.
*Team player with a collaborative spirit, able to work across multiple functions and levels within IBM and partners.
