In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Architect specializing in SAP HANA Basis, you will design, implement, and maintain the SAP HANA infrastructure and basis components, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions that meet business requirements and exceed customer expectations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design SAP HANA Infrastructure: Design and implement SAP HANA infrastructure and basis components, considering performance, availability, and scalability requirements. This includes ensuring the functional interface to the application infrastructure is maintained. • Develop Scalable Solutions: Design applications that can run on multiple platforms, composed of multiple software packages, and ensure they meet business requirements and customer expectations. • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with various teams to deliver high-quality SAP HANA solutions, providing expertise in SAP HANA, basis administration, and system architecture. • Ensure Performance and Availability: Oversee the performance, availability, and scalability of applications, utilizing knowledge of SAP HANA, S/4 HANA, Cloud migration, and other relevant technologies. • Architect Cloud Solutions: Design architecture for Cloud environments, such as AWS or Azure, and leverage experience with SAP BTP, SLT, SAP ASE, and other relevant technologies.

• SAP HANA Infrastructure Design: Experience with designing and implementing SAP HANA infrastructure and basis components, considering performance, availability, and scalability requirements. • Multi-Platform Application Design: Experience in designing applications that can run on multiple platforms, composed of multiple software packages, meeting business requirements and customer expectations. • SAP HANA Solution Development: Experience with developing high-quality, scalable, and secure SAP HANA solutions, utilizing knowledge of SAP HANA, basis administration, and system architecture. • Cloud Architecture Design: Experience in designing architecture for Cloud environments, such as AWS or Azure, leveraging technologies like SAP BTP, SLT, SAP ASE, and other relevant technologies. • SAP Technology Expertise: Experience with SAP technologies including S/4 HANA, Cloud migration, ECC, BW, SCM, CRM, SRM, HCM, SQL, and other relevant skills.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• SAP BTP Design Experience: Experience with designing and implementing SAP BTP, including leveraging its capabilities for Cloud-based solutions. Knowledge of integrating SAP BTP with SAP HANA and other SAP technologies is beneficial. • SAP LeanIX Design Skills: Experience in designing and implementing SAP LeanIX, including utilizing its features for Enterprise Architecture management and IT landscape planning. • Hyperscaler Architecture Knowledge: Familiarity with designing architecture for hyperscalers, such as AWS or Azure, including understanding their scalability, security, and performance capabilities.
