Your role and responsibilities

As a Back-End Developer specializing in Z.Security, you will work in an agile, collaborative environment to design, code, and deliver creative solutions to client problems and requirements in various security-related areas for IBM Z. You will employ IBM's Design Thinking to create solutions that provide a great user experience along with world-class quality, resiliency, security, privacy, integrity, and stability. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design Secure Solutions: Design creative solutions to client problems and requirements in various security-related areas for IBM Z, leveraging industry standards and strategic technologies of the IBM z platform. • Develop Secure Code: Develop secure code following IBM Security and Privacy by Design requirements, including secure code development, security and privacy standards, industry and Z security recommended practices, threat modeling, and use of security-related tools. • Collaborate with Teams: Work in an agile, collaborative environment to understand requirements, debug, test, and deliver solutions that meet client needs and expectations. • Leverage DevOps: Leverage DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions that provide a great user experience along with world-class quality, resiliency, security, privacy, integrity, and stability. • Ensure Compliance: Ensure solutions comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and IBM's security and privacy policies.

Programming Skills:

• Python
• Shell Scripting

Other Skills:

• In depth Knowledge of end to end Security and Complinace activities such as Threat Models, Security Privacy by Design.
• Knowledge of Security scanning tools such as Nessus scanner, SonarQube, NMap.
• In depth Security concepts (Includes deep understanding of identity mgmt/authentication, authorization, firewall, auditing, secure communication, managing certificates, password management)
• Excellent presentation and soft skills
• Security Domain Expertise:
• Understand of cryptographic key management and it’s lifecycle and also security architecture.
• In depth knowledge of Hardware Security Modules, PKCS #11 APIs, Trusted Execution Environments, Quantum Safe Algorithms
• Strong English communication skills both written and verbal
• Mandatory experience in Security Testing , Static Scan, OSS/SCA Scan, Dynamic Scan, Threat Model , Python Coding or Shell Scripting
  Knowledge: Git and CI/CD

Preferred technical and professional experience

• General understanding of private /public / hybrid cloud concepts
• In depth understanding of HW servers and server components
• General understanding of open source projects; experience with open source community contribution can be an added advantage
• In depth Security concepts and hands on experience on Certificate management/authentication, authorization, firewall, auditing, secure communication, password management)
