With support from our strategic partners, robust IBM technology, and Red Hat, you’ll have the tools to drive meaningful change and accelerate client impact. At IBM Consulting, curiosity fuels success. You’ll be encouraged to challenge the norm, explore new ideas, and create innovative solutions that deliver real results. Your role and responsibilities

· Lead UX strategy and execution across one or more product areas within IBM’s portfolio, setting direction for experience quality, design standards, and delivery.

· Translate complex business and user needs into design solutions that are clear, accessible, and technically grounded—balancing client outcomes with human-centred intent.

· Design and deliver experiences for intelligent systems—spanning conversational interfaces, intelligent automation, and generative capabilities—with a clear-eyed understanding of how users build trust with AI, what transparency and explainability require in practice, and where human control must be preserved.

· Present a portfolio that demonstrates the full arc of design thinking—problem framing, research, design decisions, and measurable outcomes—across complex enterprise and government contexts.

· Plan and facilitate design workshops, stakeholder reviews, and user research sessions to surface insight, align teams, and validate design direction.

· Produce wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity visuals using tools such as Figma, incorporating AI-assisted design capabilities where they add genuine value to the process.

· Advocate for user-centred design principles throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring human needs remain central even as technology evolves.

· Coach and develop junior and mid-level designers, providing structured feedback, creating space for growth, and holding a high bar for craft and rigour.

· Work closely with distributed global teams—including designers, engineers, product managers, and client stakeholders—to maintain design consistency and alignment with IBM values across geographies and delivery contexts.

· Continuously improve the user experience through data, usability testing, and structured feedback loops, ensuring design decisions are grounded in evidence rather than assumption.

· Build design eminence within IBM Consulting Singapore by establishing design standards, capabilities, and offerings — advocating for design as a strategic lever for both internally and in client-facing contexts.

· Support business development activities—contributing to proposals, bids, and client engagements by articulating the design value proposition, scoping design workstreams, and helping shape the right team for each opportunity.
