Your role and responsibilities

IBM Storage solutions are the industry’s most trusted data platforms. This is an opportunity for a talented Test Developer to join the growing IBM Storage Systems Assurance team in changing the world. The ideal candidate is a technophile who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about learning new tools and technologies, and is comfortable interacting with a team of professionals looking to deploy the most innovative solutions for our clients.

You will work along multiple talented engineers in driving the quality and automation effort of the storage solutions, create tools that provide the backbone of the quality systems and solve complex problems with the most efficient implementations.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Test Automation Exposure: Exposure to designing and developing test tools and scripts for automated testing of products.

• Script Development Skills: Experience working with script development to automate testing processes, ensuring efficiency and reliability. • Automated Testing Knowledge: Exposure to collaborating on enabling automated testing, utilizing designed test tools and scripts.

• Product Testing Understanding: Experience working with testing processes for various products, understanding the need for automated testing.

• Tool Development Abilities: Exposure to developing test tools to support automated testing, with a focus on product testing efficiency.

Preferred technical and professional experience

English proficiency
Experience with Software testing (test planning, test execution, defect tracking)
Experience with test automation (Python, JavaScript, Java, or bash)
Experience with Storage concepts.
Experience with Infrastructure configuration, management, and troubleshooting
Experience with RHEL/Linux OS, system configuration, and administration (command line)
Strong communication skills and ability to work in small teams with testers and developers
