In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As a Security Consultant specializing in Industrial Operation Technology Services, you will provide guidance to Client IT, OT, and Business Executives on ICS technologies, risks, and vulnerabilities. You will offer consulting services to assess current state, identify vulnerabilities and potential attack vectors, and perform security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Assess Client Security Posture: Assess current state of client's security posture, identifying vulnerabilities and potential attack vectors, and providing recommendations for improvement. This involves analyzing existing security measures, identifying gaps, and developing strategies to address them.
• Perform Security Audits: Conduct security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, helping clients achieve a superior security posture. This includes evaluating the effectiveness of existing security controls and identifying areas for improvement.
• Implement Strategic Solutions: Define business drivers and implement strategic and tactical solutions to align security measures with clients' business objectives. This involves collaborating with clients to understand their business goals and developing tailored security solutions to support those goals.
• Provide Security Guidance: Offer guidance to Client IT, OT, and Business Executives on ICS technologies, risks, and vulnerabilities, helping them make informed decisions about security investments and initiatives.
• ICS Technologies Expertise: Experience with ICS technologies, including understanding of risks and vulnerabilities associated with industrial control systems.
• Security Audit Experience: Experience performing security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, including evaluating the effectiveness of existing security controls.
• Strategic Solution Development: Experience developing strategic and tactical solutions to align security measures with business objectives, including defining business drivers and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Industrial Security Knowledge: Experience with security concerns in industrial settings, including understanding the importance of safety and efficiency of operations.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Experience identifying vulnerabilities and potential attack vectors, and providing recommendations for improvement to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• ICS Security Frameworks: Experience with industry-recognized ICS security frameworks and standards, including understanding of best practices for securing industrial control systems.
• Threat Analysis Tools: Familiarity with threat analysis tools and techniques used to identify potential security threats in industrial settings.
• Industrial Network Protocols: Knowledge of industrial network protocols and devices, including understanding of their security implications and vulnerabilities.
• Location in Monterrey (Nuevo León) or availability to relocate to Monterrey.
