In this role, you will join IBM Client Innovation Center via our Associates Program for university graduates. As an Associate Package Consultant, you have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients worldwide. Our clients have challenging technical business needs. You will work with experts across multiple industries and geographies to improve the SAP implementation journey for some of the world’s most innovative and valuable companies. In your role, you will be encouraged to challenge the norm and come up with creative solutions that make an impact across clients.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Associate Package Consultant at IBM Client Innovation Center, you will help to assist clients in the selection, implementation, and production support of SAP application packages to meet client needs.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients in selection, implementation, and support of packaged SAP solutions.
  • Work as a team member with client personnel and other IBM teams to identify functional requirements and subsequently working on the identification, justification, and design of the client’s solution.
  • Participate in a wide range of design activities, from requirements analysis through system, application, and process design specification and implementation.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Passion for understanding business processes and SAP software.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, as well as deep analytical skills to ensure recommendations are informed by data and insights.
  • A high level of resilience with the ability to manage dynamic workloads.
    Powerful communication skills, successfully applying verbal and written communication to expose and defend points of view to business leaders and team members.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Familiarity with business processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with programming (Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, SQL) is a plus.
