In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As a Package Specialist: SAP SCM MM, you will design, implement, and maintain the Materials Management (MM) module within SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) to optimize procurement, inventory, and logistics operations. This role requires strong knowledge of SAP MM, SAP SCM, and procurement best practices to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Design and Configure MM Processes: Design and configure MM processes, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to meet business needs and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.
• Develop and Maintain Customizations: Develop and maintain MM customizations, interfaces, and reports to support business requirements and optimize procurement, inventory, and logistics operations.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
• Test and Troubleshoot Issues: Test and troubleshoot MM issues, identifying and resolving errors and inconsistencies to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Analyze and Optimize Operations: Analyze and optimize procurement, inventory, and logistics operations, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to optimize business processes.
• SAP MM Configuration Experience: Experience with designing and configuring MM processes, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to meet business needs and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.
• SAP Customization Development: Experience with developing and maintaining MM customizations, interfaces, and reports to support business requirements and optimize procurement, inventory, and logistics operations.
• Procurement Best Practices Knowledge: Exposure to procurement best practices and experience with analyzing and optimizing procurement, inventory, and logistics operations to identify opportunities for improvement.
• SAP Integration Experience: Experience with integrating SAP MM with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, FI) and third-party systems to ensure seamless data flow and accuracy.
• SAP Troubleshooting Skills: Experience with testing and troubleshooting MM issues, identifying and resolving errors and inconsistencies to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• SAP APO Knowledge: Exposure to SAP Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO) for advanced supply chain planning and optimization techniques.
• ABAP Programming Skills: Experience working with ABAP programming language for custom development and integration with SAP MM.
• Supply Chain Analytics: Exposure to supply chain analytics tools and techniques for data analysis and business insights.
