In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Consultant SAP SD, you will implement and configure SAP SD solutions for clients and serve as an expert working directly with customers to deliver high-quality results and provide trusted business advice. You will utilize business and industry knowledge, business processes, and techno-functional solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology solutions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Design and Configure Solutions: Analyze business requirements, design and configure solutions to meet client needs, ensuring successful project delivery and high-quality results.

• Deliver Comprehensive Solutions: Work across technical design, development, and implementation of solutions, leveraging knowledge of SAP SD and the latest technologies to achieve client expectations.

• Collaborate with Clients and Teams: Embody IBM core values, building trust with clients and team members through clear communications, inclusivity, curiosity, and innovation in all interactions.

• Implement Solutions: Utilize business and industry knowledge to effectively integrate packaged technology solutions, focusing on simplicity, amplification, and maintainability.

• Ensure Successful Project Delivery: Work directly with customers to deliver high-quality results, providing trusted business advice and ensuring successful project delivery.

Required technical and professional expertise

• SAP SD Solution Expertise: Experience with implementing and configuring SAP SD solutions, with a deep understanding of the system and its applications in various business environments.

• Business Requirements Analysis: Exposure to analyzing business requirements, designing and configuring solutions to meet client needs, and ensuring successful project delivery.

• Techno-Functional Solution Expertise: Experience working with techno-functional solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology solutions, focusing on simplicity, amplification, and maintainability.

• Industry Knowledge: Experience with utilizing business and industry knowledge to deliver high-quality results and provide trusted business advice to clients.

• Solution Implementation: Exposure to working across technical design, development, and implementation of solutions, leveraging knowledge of SAP SD and the latest technologies.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• SAP SD Customization: Exposure to customizing SAP SD solutions to meet specific client needs, with a focus on optimizing system performance and functionality.

• Advanced Techno-Functional Skills: Experience working with advanced techno-functional solution expertise, including data migration, integration, and testing, to effectively integrate packaged technology solutions.

• Industry-Specific Knowledge: Exposure to utilizing industry-specific knowledge to deliver high-quality results and provide trusted business advice to clients, with a focus on best practices and industry trends.
