Function Introduction:

IBM BPO which is a critical part of Consulting focuses on Business Process Operations across several domains such as finance & accounts, procurement & supply chain, talent transformation, and industry-specific processes including risk & compliance, insurance, digital marketing services and telecom. BPO India is committed to accelerating digital transformation across all its clients with the use of agile methodologies, advanced process mining and intelligent workflows powered by hybrid cloud and artificial intelligence (AI).

Your role and responsibilities

1. Finance Management

· Responsible for managing budgets, forecasting, and business case modelling initiatives across fiscal years using in-house tools for forecasting and budget tracking purposes.

· Manage all IT planning, resource forecasting and business case management for projects, in parallel.

· Manage projects with varied levels of complexity by tracking schedules and cost performance using operations scorecards/metrics reporting.

· Increase financial process effectiveness through quarterly reviews ensuring accuracy and data integrity of all financial transactions.

2. Portfolio Management

· Responsible for identifying and creating business cases, flow charts, and process diagrams to facilitate the automation of processes within the PMO space.

· Identify process improvements by introducing automation using the Automation Anywhere tool and an in-house automation tool called Accenture Robotic Process (ARP). The program managed it to completion.

· Create and manage work plans using Microsoft Project plans for projects within the portfolio.

· Create Leadership presentations/Process Handbooks/ Use case documents/ Process flow documents using MS PPT.

· Create Leadership Dashboards using the PowerBI tool for runtime access to the required metrics.

3. Contract Management

· Manage project operations with a key focus on defining the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by interacting with clients, business partners, industry leaders, vendors, and other stakeholders.

· Secure budgets for year-on-year operations by liaising with the funding partners and defining the work transfer agreements.

4. Cross-functional coordination

· Work with key stakeholders across various functions like business leaders, senior leadership, finance, and technical teams to deliver client expectations and secure ongoing revenues.

· Work closely with the onshore counterparts and the leadership team to drive process efficiency across initiatives.

· Coordinate with the project managers to deliver projects to ensure an appropriate balance between processes and strategic planning while providing continuous growth and improvement aligning with the organizational goals.

5. Team management

· Manage a team to create reusable assets around the program management processes. Also involved in driving internal training on tools and technologies for a large audience.

6. Client Relationship Management

· Obtain a detailed understanding of the client's internal processes and workflow to enable better service delivery through project managers and enhanced client relationships.

· Create effective meeting agendas to capture appropriate client information, needs, and concerns.

7. Program Management and continuous improvement

· Process improvement through the implementation of dashboards for leadership, which enhanced project visibility for executive decision-making.

· Lead infrastructure remediation programs across multiple projects within the portfolio.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

· Minimum 15-18 years of experience in project & program management.

· Proven working experience in project management.

· Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Preferred technical and professional experience

· Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

· Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.

· Ability to influence people internal/external customers, Operations and Finance partners.

· Ambitious individual who can work under their direction towards agreed targets/goals and with a creative approach to work.

· Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management.

· Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

· Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications.
