This role is supporting the Red Hat Workforce Technology Systems team (WTS).

The Red Hat Workforce Technology Systems team (WTS) is looking for a Workday Integration Developer to join us in Pune. In this role, you will assist in the development, testing, implementation and support of Workday platform integrations and associated systems in support of HR and Payroll. As part of our team, you’ll use your Workday skills with integration development working in an Agile framework to help business partners achieve their desired outcomes through technology. The position includes design, development, testing, and deployment of various types of integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Web Services, Reports , Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and Third Party Payroll Integrations.

Your role and responsibilities

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions within the Workday application.

  • Shows a commitment to quality by implementing suitable software using unit/integration and acceptance testing at the time of feature development within the Workday application

  • Designs and develops practical APIs and abstractions.

  • Works collaboratively in an agile environment

  • Debugs large components with limited assistance and assists other engineers with debugging

  • Leads code reviews and actively participates in providing feedback on others' designs/code

  • Contributes to the development of best practices within their group

  • Takes control of complex or vague problems and steps through them in a rational way

  • Flexible in his or her thinking; able to evolve a solution when additional information or ideas are presented

Required education
Bachelor's Degree

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Workday Integration Consultant

  • 3+ years integrating Workday with internal systems and third-party service vendors

  • Develop, test and deploy Workday integrations as required by the business

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

  • Strong understanding of Workday Custom Reports, EIBs , Core Connectors, Document Transformation, Workday Studio and Third Party Payroll Integrations

  • Exposure to Web Services, EDI, XML, XSLT, Java or .Net integration technologies

  • Hands-on experience in building and debugging Workday Integrations including EIBs, Connectors (PECI, WECI, JECI, CCGW etc.), Workday Studio and creating Workday custom reports, calculated fields and XSLTs

  • Demonstrated integration experience in Human Resources related domains (Onboarding/offboarding, Payroll, Benefits, Timekeeping, etc.)

  • Experience in creating detailed system interface specifications, field mapping and system process designs

  • Possess a team player mentality focused on customer success

  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Salesforce or other SaaS ERP systems a plus but not required
