In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As an Application Architect specializing in MuleSoft, you will design and implement integration solutions using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform, requiring a deep understanding of middleware applications and extensive experience with MuleSoft. This role demands strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality integration solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design Integration Solutions: Design and implement integration solutions using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform, ensuring scalable, robust, and secure designs that meet project requirements. • Lead Project Assessment: Conduct end-to-end analysis of project scope, scale, deliverables, objectives, and impacts to inform architecture and implementation decisions. • Develop API Led Connectivity: Build architecture and implement API Led connectivity for integration solutions, applying expertise in detailed requirements analysis, software design, testing, and deployment. • Mentor Team Members: Lead and mentor a team in designing and building integration solutions, providing guidance on best practices and different integration patterns. • Ensure Best Practices: Apply knowledge of various deployment models and best practices to ensure high-quality integration solutions that meet project objectives.
• Middleware Applications Expertise: Deep understanding of middleware applications, with extensive experience in designing and implementing integration solutions using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform. • MuleSoft Experience: Experience with MuleSoft, including expertise in detailed requirements analysis, software design, testing, and deployment, as well as knowledge of various deployment models and best practices. • Integration Patterns Knowledge: Experience with different integration patterns, such as reliability and batch, with the ability to apply this knowledge to design and build integration solutions. • API Led Connectivity Expertise: Experience in building architecture and implementing API Led connectivity for scalable, robust, and secure designs. • Team Leadership Experience: Experience leading and mentoring a team in designing and building integration solutions, with the ability to provide guidance on best practices and different integration patterns.
• Other Integration Tool Experience: Familiarity with integration tools beyond MuleSoft is beneficial for this role, enabling the Application Architect to leverage a broader range of solutions and expertise. • Architect Certification: Holding an Architect certification is advantageous, demonstrating the Application Architect's commitment to staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
