As a Brand Sales Specialist for IBM's Apptio Portfolio, you will create demand and progress opportunities to close for Apptio solutions, including Cloudability, ApptioOne, and Targetprocess. You will be responsible for a territory consisting of Apptio clients and prospects. For existing clients, youy will be responsbile for all aspects of account management including executing on SaaS renewals, maintaining executive business reviews and ensuring value realization. You will drive sales growth and expansion by leveraging your expertise in Apptio's automation platform. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Drive Demand Creation: Develop and execute strategies to create demand for Apptio solutions, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities to drive revenue growth. • Progress Opportunities: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and progress opportunities through the sales cycle, ultimately closing deals and driving business expansion. Additionally, responsible for sales cycle execution for all renewals • Solution Positioning: Position Apptio solutions, including Cloudability, ApptioOne, and Targetprocess, to meet client needs and deliver value-driven outcomes. • Opportunity Management: Manage and prioritize sales opportunities, ensuring effective pipeline management and accurate forecasting. • Client Engagement: Engage with clients to build relationships, understand their business challenges, and provide solutions that address their needs.
• Deep Expertise in Apptio Solutions: Experience with Apptio's automation platform, including Cloudability, ApptioOne, and Targetprocess, with the ability to position these solutions to meet client needs and deliver value-driven outcomes.
• Proven SaaS Sales Growth Strategies: Experience in developing and executing strategies to create demand for technology solutions, driving sales growth and expansion through effective pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
• Solution Selling Expertise: Experience with solution selling methodologies, with the ability to collaborate with clients to understand their needs and progress opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Complex Sales Cycle Management: Experience in managing and prioritizing multiple sales opportunities, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and close deals.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience working in the SaaS technology industry, with knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics related to Apptio solutions.
• SaaS Sales experience, both net new ACV and renewal ACV, preferred

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
This position is eligible for participation in an IBM Sales Incentive plan. Actual incentive opportunity will be based on performance and the eligible Target Incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change. The compensation range listed for this position is the IBM Reference Salary that is used when you are not actively participating in a sales plan. Your actual base pay plus incentive opportunity will be determined by the Incentive Plan assigned to you.
