Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Specialist: SAP SCM WMS, you will design, implement, and maintain the Warehouse Management System (WMS) module within SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) to optimize warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design and Configure WMS Processes: Design and configure WMS processes, including warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment, to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems. • Develop and Maintain WMS Customizations: Develop and maintain WMS customizations, interfaces, and reports to meet business requirements and optimize warehouse operations. • Test and Troubleshoot WMS Issues: Test and troubleshoot WMS issues, identifying and resolving errors and inconsistencies to ensure data integrity and accuracy. • Analyze and Optimize Warehouse Operations: Analyze and optimize warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes. • Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on WMS functionality and best practices to ensure effective use of the system.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Exposure to SAP WMS Configuration: Experience with designing and configuring WMS processes, including warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment, within SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM). • SAP SCM Implementation: Experience with implementing and maintaining SAP SCM modules, including integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems. • Warehouse Management Best Practices: Experience with warehouse management best practices, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and data integrity. • SAP Customization and Development: Experience with developing and maintaining customizations, interfaces, and reports within SAP WMS. • SAP Testing and Troubleshooting: Experience with testing and troubleshooting SAP WMS issues, including error identification and resolution.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• SAP MM Knowledge: Exposure to SAP Materials Management (MM) module, including integration with SAP WMS and other SAP modules, is beneficial for this role. • SAP QM Familiarity: Familiarity with SAP Quality Management (QM) module, including quality control and inspection processes, is advantageous for ensuring seamless integration with SAP WMS. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including logistics, supply chain, and IT, is valuable for aligning WMS processes with business requirements.
