In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Consultant for Oracle Cloud HCM, you will lead the implementation of business processes within the Oracle HCM Core HR, Self Services module & Security. Your role involves applying expertise in business processes and systems to design, configure, and customize the product. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Design and Configure Solutions: Design, configure, and customize the Oracle HCM product to meet business requirements, identifying gaps and recommending leading practice solutions to enhance process efficiencies and reduce future maintenance efforts.
Conduct Application Testing: Create functional designs and prototypes, and conduct application testing to ensure effective implementation.
Educate Clients: Educate clients on Oracle HCM best practices, identifying opportunities for additional services and providing status reports to keep engagement managers informed of the project's overall progress.
Share Product Skills: Participate in training and other events to share product skills with fellow practitioners.
Provide Status Reports: Provide engagement managers with status reports to keep them informed of the project's overall progress.

Required technical and professional expertise

Exposure to Oracle HCM Cloud: Experience working with Oracle HCM Core HR, Self Services module & Security, including understanding business requirements and identifying gaps.
Business Process Expertise: Exposure to designing, configuring, and customizing packaged solutions to meet business needs and enhance process efficiencies.
Application Testing: Experience with creating functional designs and prototypes, and conducting application testing to ensure effective implementation.
Consulting Skills: Exposure to providing consulting services, including educating clients on best practices and identifying opportunities for additional services.
Packaged Solution Proficiency: Experience working with packaged solutions, including proficiency in design, configuration, and customization.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Oracle HCM Cloud Knowledge: Exposure to Oracle HCM Cloud, including understanding business requirements and identifying gaps, is beneficial for this role.
Packaged Solution Customization: Experience with designing, configuring, and customizing packaged solutions to meet business needs and enhance process efficiencies is preferred.
Consulting Services Exposure: Exposure to providing consulting services, including educating clients on best practices and identifying opportunities for additional services, is advantageous.
