In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Architect for SAP NextGen Technical Innovation, you will provide architecture, design, and SME support during sales and delivery of complex technical solutions involving various SAP components. You will leverage your deep expertise in SAP technologies to drive innovative solutions for clients. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design Complex Solutions: Provide architecture and design support for complex technical solutions involving SAP components such as SAP BTP, SAP Portal, SAP Fiori, and SAP UI5. • Deliver SME Support: Offer subject matter expertise during sales and delivery of technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration of SAP components. • Drive Solution Delivery: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet business requirements, leveraging SAP technologies such as SAP Leonardo (IoT, Blockchain, Machine Learning). • Develop Architecture Strategies: Develop and implement architecture strategies that incorporate SAP components, such as SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (MII) and SAP Manufacturing Execution (ME). • Ensure Solution Quality: Ensure that delivered solutions meet quality standards and align with client expectations, utilizing SAP Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and other relevant metrics.

• Deep SAP Technology Expertise: Proven experience with SAP technologies, including SAP BTP, SAP Portal, SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, and SAP Leonardo (IoT, Blockchain, Machine Learning). • Complex Solution Architecture: Experience designing and delivering complex technical solutions involving multiple SAP components, such as SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (MII) and SAP Manufacturing Execution (ME). • SAP Component Integration: Experience integrating SAP components, including SAP Cloud Platform Mobile Services (SCPMs) and SAP Mobile Platform (SMP), to deliver seamless solutions. • Technical Solution Delivery: Experience driving solution delivery, collaborating with clients and internal teams to meet business requirements and ensure solution quality. • Architecture Strategy Development: Experience developing and implementing architecture strategies that incorporate SAP components, leveraging expertise in SAP technologies to drive innovative solutions.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• SAP Cloud Platform Expertise: Deep expertise in SAP Cloud Platform Mobile Services (SCPMs) and SAP Mobile Platform (SMP) is beneficial for integrating SAP components to deliver seamless solutions. This expertise enables the development of innovative solutions that meet business requirements. • SAP Manufacturing Knowledge: Experience with SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (MII) and SAP Manufacturing Execution (ME) is advantageous for developing and implementing architecture strategies that incorporate SAP components. This knowledge helps ensure that delivered solutions meet quality standards and align with client expectations. • IoT and Blockchain Familiarity: Familiarity with SAP Leonardo (IoT, Blockchain, Machine Learning) is desirable for driving innovative solutions that meet business requirements and ensure solution quality. This familiarity enables the development of complex technical solutions involving multiple SAP components.
