Your role and responsibilities

Package Consultant, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted):

  • Solution RFP (Request for Proposal) responses, project planning, resource planning, quality gate-checks, and key project milestone planning.
  • Draft RFP responses and participate in proof-of-concept and proof-of-technology workshops as part of the bidding process.
  • Draft requirement matrix and blueprint document, design document, functional spec, and test scripts.
  • Design and configure SAP Industry Solution for utilities application for customer and enterprise asset management processes.
  • Introduce and translate SAP’s architecture standards into customers' enterprise architecture.
  • Architect the integration between SAP and Meter Data Management System for smart and non-smart meters.
  • Design billing process for net-metering, multi-metering, and collective billing processes for residential and non-residential accounts.
  • Gather business requirements for SAP-Utilities.
  • Design interface between SAP and Geographic Information System.
  • Design work management solutions for different utility industry processes such as meter maintenance and new connections.
  • Design Meter Reading System by ITRON meter read solution.
  • Draft test scripts, manage bill compare tests, and integration test cycle.
  • Configure device management and Work Management modules of SAP system.
  • Configure scheduling, meter upload, and download solutions.
  • Utilize: SAP Industry Solution – Utilities (ISU), SAP Utilities – Device Management, Agile and Waterfall Methodology, SAP Enterprise Asset Management, SAP Project Implementation Lifecycle – End to End, SAP Developer, SAP Data Migration.

Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Information System, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Project Manager or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing SAP Industry Solution – Utilities (ISU), SAP Utilities – Device Management, Agile and Waterfall Methodology, SAP Enterprise Asset Management, SAP Project Implementation Lifecycle – End to End, SAP Developer, SAP Data Migration. $220440 - $250000 per year. Full time. H245.
