As a Procurement Operations Professional in Global Logistics Operations, you will support the global movement of IBM directed goods and services, including inbound parts to manufacturing, finished product shipments to clients, product returns, asset recovery, and service parts delivery. You will build supplier and stakeholder relationships, collaborate, and plan to ensure reliable, responsive, and cost-effective logistics solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Manage Contract Deliverables: Ensure contract deliverables are in support of IBM and client logistics needs, collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders to drive results. • Analyze Data and Develop Solutions: Analyze data to identify trends and issues, develop root cause and corrective actions, and influence suppliers and stakeholders to implement changes. • Support Global Trade Compliance: Participate in global trade compliance, business strategy, and business requirements planning to ensure logistics solutions meet regulatory requirements. • Develop Logistics Solutions: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop reliable, responsive, and cost-effective logistics solutions that meet IBM and client needs. • Maintain Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring contract management and deliverables align with IBM and client logistics needs.

• Business Strategy Knowledge: Exposure to business strategy and business requirements planning to ensure logistics solutions meet regulatory requirements and support IBM and client logistics needs. • Distribution Network Design: Experience working with distribution network design to develop reliable, responsive, and cost-effective logistics solutions. • Global Asset Recovery: Exposure to global asset recovery services (GARs) and business transformation to support the development of logistics solutions.
