In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer specializing in SAP Automation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of applications and systems implemented using SAP. Your focus will be on developing test scenarios and test cases, executing them to verify that the system meets the requirements, and automating functional testing of the applications. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Develop Test Scenarios and Cases: Create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases to validate that the system is built according to the requirements, utilizing your knowledge of SAP business processes to ensure accurate testing. • Execute Test Cases: Perform test case execution to verify that the system meets the specified requirements, focusing on automation of functional testing to improve efficiency. • Automate Functional Testing: Design and implement automated testing solutions to streamline the testing process, leveraging your understanding of SAP business processes to identify areas for automation. • Analyze Test Results: Examine test results to identify defects and report on testing outcomes, collaborating with the development team to resolve issues and improve overall quality.

• SAP Business Process Knowledge: Exposure to SAP business processes, with an understanding of how they are implemented and used in various services, enabling the development of effective test scenarios and cases. • Test Scenario Development: Experience working with test scenario development, creating comprehensive test scenarios and test cases to validate system requirements, with a focus on automation of functional testing. • Automated Testing Solutions: Exposure to designing and implementing automated testing solutions, leveraging knowledge of SAP business processes to identify areas for automation and improve testing efficiency. • Test Execution and Analysis: Experience working with test case execution, verifying system requirements, and analyzing test results to identify defects and report on testing outcomes. • Functional Testing Automation: Exposure to automating functional testing of applications, utilizing knowledge of SAP business processes to ensure accurate and efficient testing.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• SAP Module Knowledge: Exposure to various SAP modules, with an understanding of their integration and usage in different business processes, enabling more comprehensive testing and automation. • Automated Testing Tools: Experience working with automated testing tools, utilizing them to design and implement efficient testing solutions for SAP applications and systems. • Cross-Functional Testing: Exposure to testing across multiple SAP modules and business processes, with an understanding of how they interact and impact overall system quality.
