Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Network Specialist to support and operate mission-critical network infrastructure across IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a 24×7 operations role involving rotational shifts, responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of hybrid multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in hybrid connectivity, Linux, and Red Hat OpenShift, along with proven experience in troubleshooting complex production issues in real time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 24×7 operational support for multi-cloud network environments on a rotational shift basis.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents, ensuring adherence to SLAs and minimizing downtime.
  • Manage networking components across IBM Cloud, Azure, and GCP (VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, gateways, load balancers, DNS, firewalls).
  • Support hybrid connectivity between on-premises and cloud using VPN and dedicated connections (Direct Link, ExpressRoute, Interconnect).
  • Handle Severity-1 incidents, lead troubleshooting bridges, and coordinate with SMEs and vendors.
  • Support networking for Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes platforms (ingress, egress, SDN/OVN, network policies).
  • Perform routine maintenance, patching coordination, and change implementations.
  • Ensure network security compliance, segmentation, and access controls.
  • Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and network diagrams.
  • Participate in on-call escalation and disaster recovery activities.
  • Collaborate with cloud, platform, and security teams for deployments and incident resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7–12 years of experience in network engineering and operations, including cloud networking.
  • Proven experience in 24×7 production support environments with rotational shifts.
  • Hands-on expertise in:
    • IBM Cloud networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Link, Load Balancers, Security Groups)
    • Microsoft Azure networking (VNet, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Private Link)
    • Google Cloud networking (VPC, Cloud Interconnect, Load Balancing, Cloud NAT, Private Service Connect)
  • Strong experience with hybrid cloud deployments.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, BGP, OSPF, DNS, NAT).
  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes networking.
  • Experience troubleshooting high-priority incidents under time pressure.

Soft Skills


    • Ability to work effectively in rotational shifts (including nights/weekends).
    • Strong incident management and crisis handling skills.
    • Excellent communication during high-severity incidents.
    • Team player with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Relevant certifications (preferred):
    • IBM Cloud / Azure / GCP Networking certifications
    • Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes certifications
  • Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting (Python, Bash).
  • Exposure to service mesh and advanced cloud security controls.
