Your role and responsibilities

As a Brand Sales Specialist for IBM's Automation Platform, you will create demand and progress opportunities to close for Automation Platform solutions. This role requires deep expertise in driving sales growth and identifying new business opportunities. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Demand Creation and Opportunity Progression: Create demand for Automation Platform solutions, including Cloud Pak for Applications, DevOps, and other related products, and progress opportunities to close. • Solution Sales and Delivery: Deliver solution sales that meet client needs, leveraging knowledge of Automation Platform solutions to drive business growth. • Client-Facing Activities: Engage in client-facing activities to build relationships, identify new business opportunities, and promote Automation Platform solutions. • Collaboration and Partnership: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive sales growth and identify new business opportunities for Automation Platform solutions. • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue for Automation Platform solutions.

Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

• Deep Expertise in Automation Platform Solutions: Proven ability to drive sales growth and identify new business opportunities for Automation Platform solutions, including Cloud Pak for Applications, DevOps, and other related products. • Experience with Solution Sales and Delivery: Successful track record of delivering solution sales that meet client needs, leveraging knowledge of Automation Platform solutions to drive business growth. • Certification in IBM Automation Platform Products: In-depth knowledge of IBM's Automation Platform products, including but not limited to Cloud Pak for Applications, DevOps, Enterprise Application Service for Java, and Spectrum High Performance Computing. • Experience with Client-Facing Activities: Skilled in engaging in client-facing activities to build relationships, identify new business opportunities, and promote Automation Platform solutions. • Experience in Developing Sales Strategies: Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue for Automation Platform solutions.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Deep Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of industries where Automation Platform solutions are applied, enabling the identification of new business opportunities and driving sales growth. • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with technical aspects of Automation Platform solutions, including but not limited to Cloud Pak for Applications, DevOps, and Enterprise Application Service for Java. • Market Trends Awareness: Understanding of market trends and competitor activity in the Automation Platform space, informing sales strategies and driving business growth.
