Your role and responsibilities

As a Business Transformation Consultant – Sales & Commerce, you will partner with business and technology leaders to design and implement transformative strategies that align sales, marketing, and commerce functions with evolving customer expectations, emerging technologies, and competitive market dynamics. This role requires a unique blend of business acumen, digital commerce expertise, and change management capabilities.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct Maturity Assessments: Assess current-state processes, identify growth opportunities, and architect future-state operating models that integrate digital sales channels, omnichannel commerce, and customer-centric engagement strategies.
  • Define Transformation Roadmaps: Develop strategic plans that enable the adoption of modern platforms such as CRM, CPQ, eCommerce, OMS, and customer data platforms (CDPs).
  • Enable Cross-Functional Alignment: Facilitate stakeholder engagement, and agile delivery of transformation initiatives, ensuring collaboration across sales, marketing, and commerce functions.
  • Implement Transformative Strategies: Design and implement strategies that drive revenue, optimize commercial operations, and enhance customer engagement in the digital age.
  • Facilitate Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with business and technology leaders to ensure successful adoption of transformation initiatives.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Digital Commerce Expertise: Experience with designing and implementing digital sales channels, omnichannel commerce, and customer-centric engagement strategies.
  • Business Acumen: Exposure to assessing current-state processes, identifying growth opportunities, and architecting future-state operating models that drive revenue and optimize commercial operations.
  • Change Management Capabilities: Experience with facilitating cross-functional alignment, stakeholder engagement, and agile delivery of transformation initiatives.
  • Modern Platform Adoption: Experience with enabling the adoption of modern platforms such as OutSystems, CRM, CPQ, eCommerce, OMS, and customer data platforms (CDPs).
  • Transformation Strategy Development: Experience with defining transformation roadmaps and developing strategic plans that align sales, marketing, and commerce functions with evolving customer expectations and emerging technologies.


Security Requirement
Must hold an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Digital Commerce Platform Knowledge: Exposure to CRM, CPQ, eCommerce, OMS, and customer data platforms (CDPs) is beneficial for this role.
  • Emerging Technology Awareness: Familiarity with emerging technologies and their applications in sales, marketing, and commerce functions is advantageous.
  • Agile Delivery Methodologies: Experience with agile delivery of transformation initiatives is desirable, but not essential.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
