In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Consultant: SAP HANA FIN FI, you will implement and configure SAP HANA FIN FI solutions for clients, serving as an expert working directly with customers to deliver high-quality results and trusted business advice. You will utilize your deep understanding of and/or hands-on experience in the system to analyze business requirements, design and configure solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Design and Configure Solutions: Design and configure SAP HANA FIN FI solutions that meet client needs, focusing on simplicity, amplification, and maintainability.

• Deliver Comprehensive Solutions: Develop and implement solutions, leveraging knowledge of this area and working with the latest technologies to achieve client expectations.

• Collaborate with Clients and Teams: Embody IBM core values while delivering project goals, building trust with clients and team members through knowledge, self-awareness, respect, clear communications, inclusivity, curiosity, and innovation.

• Analyze Business Requirements: Utilize business and industry knowledge, business processes, and techno-functional solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology solutions.

• Drive Strategic Solution Focus: Work across technical design, development, and implementation of solutions to meet client needs.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

• Experience configuring and implementation on SAP FI in S/4HANA (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking).
• Experience configuring and implementing SAP FI modules according to client business needs.
• Ability to work directly with clients to understand, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Skills to design functional solutions and perform SAP configuration (parametrization).
• Strong understanding of financial business processes and industry practices.
• Ability to provide expert guidance and trusted business advice to clients.
• Experience executing the full project cycle: requirements, design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and understand system integrations (techno-functional profile).
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Deep Industry Knowledge: Experience working with the latest technologies and utilizing business and industry knowledge to develop and implement comprehensive solutions that meet client expectations.

• Techno-Functional Solution Expertise: Experience with leveraging business and industry knowledge, business processes, and techno-functional solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology solutions and achieve client expectations.

• Strategic Solution Development: Experience in working across technical design, development, and implementation of solutions to meet client needs, with a focus on simplicity, amplification, and maintainability.
