In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

Our local development team is looking for a self-motivated Fullstack Developer with strong Java and JavaScript experience and an interest in building enterprise-grade ECM solutions.

You will work on the design, development, integration, and customization of high-performing, scalable enterprise applications leveraging robust content management platforms. The role offers exposure to complex business processes, system integration, and modern enterprise architectures.

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

· 3+ years of experience in Java and JavaScript with solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts

· Experience with SQL and relational databases

· Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and basic system design principles

· Good knowledge of web services and standards such as REST and JSON

· Familiarity with UML diagrams and understanding of BPMN concepts

· Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including development and quality assurance activities

· Ability to analyze functional and non-functional requirements and contribute to business process design and optimization

· Understanding of testing methodologies and practices

· Experience with projects for external clients, including implementation and integration of IT solutions

· Basic experience with system administration and configuration

· Strong communication and organizational skills

· Advanced understanding of the Document Object Model (DOM), familiarity with HTML and CSS, and ability to write JavaScript code as needed

Preferred technical and professional experience

· Experience working in distributed teams across multiple time zones

· Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a dynamic environment

· Effective communication across technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management

· Experience with application and workflow design, including Content Engine object store structures

· Hands-on experience with IBM technologies such as:

o IBM Content Navigator (Dojo framework, widgets)

o IBM FileNet

o IBM Case Manager

o IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)

o IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)

o IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)

· Experience with alternative ECM platforms such as Alfresco or Microsoft SharePoint

· Practical experience with MQ-managed file transfers

· Knowledge of design patterns

· Advanced experience with RESTful and SOAP web services (consumer and provider side)

· Hands-on experience with XML technologies (XSL, XSD, WSDL, WADL, JAXB, JAX-WS) and GraphQL

· Experience with web service testing tools such as SoapUI or JMeter

· Understanding of CP4BA (Cloud Pak for Business Automation)

· Interest in AI-powered enterprise solutions

· Proactive mindset with strong ownership of assigned tasks
