The Global Mobility team is a critical function within IBM that supports the movement and deployment of IBMers across the globe. Whether this is cross border travel, immigration, relocation, or international assignment, we ensure that IBMers (and their families) get to the right place at the right time to perform critical work for the company.

Your role and responsibilities

The Global Mobility team is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Global Mobility Data and Reporting Analyst. In this role, you will help our function create insights that will inform business needs, generate creative opportunities for improvement, solve problems, and innovate operations. Reporting to the Global Immigration & Mobility Program Leader, you will support numerous parts of the Mobility Function. This will provide you with an excellent opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally and partner with several different parts of the Mobility and Immigration team across the globe on various projects and activities.

The Global Mobility Data & Reporting Analyst will perform detailed reporting and analysis in support of the Global Mobility team. This will include research, performance reporting, analytics, operations management, audit, and departmental operations. In this role, you will plan, design, and execute reporting and analysis by accessing and consolidating data from multiple sources. You will collaborate with departmental managers to help produce meaningful analysis in a comprehensive format which including dashboards, charts, graphs, and presentations. You will help to summarize data and provide your commentary or observations based on your analysis. Sources of data may be enterprise systems, complex spreadsheets, vendor/supplier databases.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively analyzes HR operational and employee experience data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and improved end‑to‑end HR support outcomes.
  • Translates data into actionable insights and clear recommendations for HR leaders, operations teams, and other internal stakeholders; supports decision‑making through storytelling with data.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains analytical dashboards, ad‑hoc analyses, and standardized reporting packages that enable ongoing monitoring of HR performance and service health.
  • Applies analytical techniques, including trend analysis, root cause analysis, and predictive or scenario‑based approaches where appropriate, to inform proactive intervention strategies.
  • Reviews and validates data sources and outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and appropriate interpretation; identifies data quality issues and recommends mitigation approaches.
  • Develops executive‑ready presentations, visualizations, and narratives that communicate complex insights in a concise, compelling, and actionable manner.
  • Interacts regularly with the team to review findings, align on actions, and track progress against improvement goals.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned, consistent with the role’s focus on analytics‑driven operational execution and continuous improvement.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
  • Bachelor's degree (BS or BA)
  • Experience in data analysis, data modeling, reporting, utilizing database tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Efficient, timely, reliable worker
  • Ability to effectively present information
  • Requires general financial capabilities to calculate and conduct basic financial analysis.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations
  • String analytical skills. High attention to detail and accuracy is required to assure data products are reliable and actionable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with AI Tools is a plus
  • Knowledge and ability to work with confidential personal data and apply data privacy controls is critical

For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
