Your role and responsibilities

As a Technology Seller Manager, you will lead a team of Technology Sellers responsible for selling the entire IBM Technology Portfolio. This portfolio includes IBM Software and IBM Infrastructure, comprising multiple platforms and product portfolios.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Lead Team of Technology Sellers: Lead a team of Technology Sellers to drive sales of the IBM Technology Portfolio, including IBM Software and IBM Infrastructure, to clients.

• Drive Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives, leveraging IBM's four Software Platforms and Infrastructure product portfolios.

• Manage Portfolio Sales: Oversee the sales of IBM's Technology Portfolio, including Data Platform, Automation Platform, Transaction Processing Platform, Hybrid Cloud Platform, Power, Storage, Cloud, TLS, and zHW.

• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies, driving business growth and client satisfaction.

• Optimize Sales Performance: Analyze sales performance and optimize sales strategies to achieve business objectives, ensuring the team meets its sales targets.

• Deep Expertise in Technology Sales Leadership: Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams, driving sales strategy, and managing portfolio sales in the technology industry, with a strong understanding of software and infrastructure solutions.

• Experience with Complex Sales Strategies: Developed and executed multi-faceted sales strategies to achieve business objectives, leveraging diverse technology platforms and product portfolios to drive business growth and client satisfaction.

• Strong Understanding of Technology Portfolios: In-depth knowledge of technology portfolios, including data platforms, automation platforms, transaction processing platforms, hybrid cloud platforms, power systems, storage solutions, cloud services, and mainframe hardware.

• Expertise in Sales Performance Optimization: Proven ability to analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize sales strategies to achieve business objectives and meet sales targets.

• Experience in Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborated with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies, driving business growth and client satisfaction in a fast-paced technology sales environment.

• Advanced Sales Strategy Development: Ability to develop and execute complex sales strategies to achieve business objectives, leveraging diverse technology platforms and product portfolios to drive business growth and client satisfaction.

• Expertise in Technology Sales Leadership: Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams, driving sales strategy, and managing portfolio sales in the technology industry, with a strong understanding of software and infrastructure solutions.
