In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Consultant specializing in SAP EIM, you will utilize your technical expertise to implement and support complex ETL data flows within Business Objects Enterprise landscapes. You will leverage your hands-on experience with various SAP tools and technologies to deliver high-quality solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Implement ETL Jobs: Design, develop, and deploy BO Data Services ETL jobs to meet business requirements, ensuring seamless data integration and flow within the Business Objects Enterprise landscape.

• Support Complex Data Flows: Utilize your understanding of Business Objects Data Services to support intricate ETL data flows, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing data processing.

• Configure Extractors: Configure and maintain BW extractors, SAP and non-SAP extractors, with Data Services, ensuring accurate and efficient data extraction and loading.

• Perform Data Replication: Implement HANA replication with Data Services and load data using SAP DMC, ensuring data consistency and integrity across systems.

• Leverage SAP Tools: Apply hands-on skills in SAP BODS, SAP BOIS, SAP SDI, SAP DATA HUB, SAP DMC, and SAP Data Migration to support S/4 HANA and other SAP products.

Required technical and professional expertise

• ETL Job Implementation: Exposure to implementing BO Data Services ETL jobs within Business Objects Enterprise landscapes, utilizing knowledge of Business Objects Data Services to support complex ETL data flows.

• Data Services Configuration: Experience working with configuration support of BW extractors/SAP/Non-SAP extractors with Data Services, ensuring accurate and efficient data extraction and loading.

• Data Replication and Loading: Exposure to implementing HANA replication with Data Services and loading data using SAP DMC, ensuring data consistency and integrity across systems.

• SAP Tools and Technologies: Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: SAP BODS, SAP BOIS, SAP SDI, SAP DATA HUB, SAP DMC, and SAP Data Migration for S/4 HANA and other SAP products.

• Complex Data Flow Support: Understanding of Business Objects Data Services, with the ability to support intricate ETL data flows, troubleshoot issues, and optimize data processing.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• SAP Data Migration Tools: Exposure to SAP Data Migration for S/4 HANA and other SAP products, with the ability to apply data migration concepts and tools to support project requirements.

• SAP Data Hub Experience: Experience working with SAP Data Hub, with the ability to design and implement data integration and governance solutions using SAP Data Hub.

• SAP SDI and BODS: Exposure to SAP SDI and SAP BODS, with the ability to apply data integration and business intelligence concepts to support project requirements.
