Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Architect specializing in SAP HANA Development, you will leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to drive projects encompassing SAP HANA application architecture, Suite on HANA migrations, and S/4HANA implementations. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding teams through complex migration projects and applying your deep knowledge of S/4HANA architecture and Fiori configuration to meet clients' business requirements. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Define Code Pushdown Strategy: Develop and recommend optimization techniques and tools by comparing various methods, ensuring efficient code remediation and analyzation processes.
  • Lead S/4HANA Migration Projects: Guide teams through S/4HANA and Suite on HANA migration projects, utilizing the Custom Development Migration Worklist tool and applying expertise in S/4HANA architecture and Fiori configuration.
  • Optimize HANA Performance: Identify objects for optimization and apply advanced HANA code push features, including OPEN SQL, AMDP, HANA Native SQL, and HANA SQL Script add-ons.
  • Configure HANA Studio: Install, configure, and utilize HANA Studio with the ABAP development tool, demonstrating expertise in HANA administration, development, and modeling tools.
  • Provide Expert Guidance: Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding teams through complex S/4HANA and SoH implementation/migration projects, and providing expert guidance on HANA architecture and development best practices.

  • Deep Expertise in SAP HANA Development: Proven experience in managing projects involving SAP HANA application architecture, Suite on HANA migrations, and S/4HANA implementations, with a strong focus on code remediation and analyzation processes.
  • S/4HANA Architecture Knowledge: In-depth understanding of S/4HANA architecture and Fiori configuration, with the ability to apply this knowledge to meet clients' business requirements and guide teams through complex migration projects.
  • Advanced HANA Optimization Skills: Experience with identifying objects for optimization and applying advanced HANA code push features, including OPEN SQL, AMDP, HANA Native SQL, and HANA SQL Script add-ons.
  • Proficiency in HANA Studio: Skilled in installing, configuring, and utilizing HANA Studio with the ABAP development tool, with expertise in HANA administration, development, and modeling tools.
  • Trusted Advisor Experience: Proven ability to serve as a trusted advisor, guiding teams through complex S/4HANA and SoH implementation/migration projects, and providing expert guidance on HANA architecture and development best practices.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Advanced SAP HANA Modeling: Experience with HANA Modeling tools, including the ability to design and optimize data models for SAP HANA applications.
  • Expertise in HANA Administration: In-depth knowledge of the HANA Administration Console, including the ability to monitor and optimize system performance.
  • Proficiency in ABAP Development: Experience with ABAP development tools, including the ability to develop and optimize ABAP code for SAP HANA applications.
