Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A SAP Finance Analyst to join our team. This role is critical for driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting while leveraging SAP solutions to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in FP&A processes, SAP Finance modules, and experience working in a dynamic, enterprise-level environment.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Support the annual budget, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to drive strategic business decisions.
  • Work closely with business units to align financial forecasts with operational goals.

SAP Finance Expertise:

  • Utilize SAP Finance modules (e.g., SAP FICO, SAP S/4HANA) to extract and analyse financial data.
  • Support financial reporting and consolidation processes using SAP tools.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within SAP systems, troubleshooting issues as needed.

Reporting and Insights:

  • Develop and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive stakeholders.
  • Provide variance analysis, highlighting key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
  • Create dashboards and visualisations using SAP tools to present financial metrics effectively.

Process Optimisation:

  • Identify and implement process improvements in FP&A workflows and reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance SAP system functionality for FP&A needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with business leaders, finance teams, and IT to ensure alignment between financial systems and business objectives.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and project-based initiatives requiring SAP expertise.

Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, compliance standards, and internal controls.
  • Assist in audits and regulatory reporting as required.
Preferred technical and professional experience
FP&A Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and deliver actionable insights.

SAP Finance Knowledge:

  • Hands-on experience with SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) or SAP S/4HANA Finance modules.
  • Familiarity with SAP analytics tools, such as SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP BW (Business Warehouse).

Technical and Analytical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, macros, financial modeling).
  • Experience with financial reporting tools and data visualization platforms.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to present financial insights to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and build relationships across departments.

Problem-Solving:

  • Ability to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and drive improvements in processes and systems.
