Du wirst Teil eines unserer IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers sein, in denen wir tiefgehendes technisches Know-how mit Branchenkenntnis verbinden, um wirkungsvolle Lösungen für unsere Kunden im öffentlichen Sektor zu liefern. In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

Als Data Scientist im Public Sector bei IBM bist du verantwortlich für die Konzeption und Implementierung von KI- und Data-Science-Anwendungen, die komplexe Herausforderungen lösen. Du arbeitest mit vielfältigen Datensätzen und nutzt moderne Machine-Learning-Techniken, um Erkenntnisse zu gewinnen und operative Abläufe zu optimieren. Zu deinen Aufgaben gehören unter anderem:

  • Entwicklung skalierbarer und robuster Datenpipelines für strukturierte und unstrukturierte Daten
  • Implementierung und Feinabstimmung fortschrittlicher Sprachmodelle für Natural Language Processing (NLP)
  • Entwicklung von Python-Anwendungen für Datenimport, ereignisgesteuerte Prozesse und Automatisierungs-Workflows
  • Optimierung von MLOps- und DevOps-Prozessen, um eine effiziente Bereitstellung und Überwachung von Modellen sicherzustellen
  • Zusammenarbeit mit interdisziplinären Teams in einem agilen Umfeld, um fachliche Anforderungen in technische Lösungen zu übersetzen
  • Aufbereitung und Präsentation von Ergebnissen und Handlungsempfehlungen für technische und nicht-technische Stakeholder
  • Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Richtlinien zu Datenschutz, Datensicherheit und Governance im öffentlichen Sektor

Required technical and professional expertise

Erforderliche technische und professionelle Expertise

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium in Informatik, Mathematik, Data Science oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet
  • Fundierte Programmierkenntnisse in Python sowie Erfahrung mit Datenbibliotheken wie Pandas, NumPy und Scikit-learn
  • Praxiserfahrung im Aufbau und in der Pflege skalierbarer Datenpipelines
  • Kenntnisse in Sprachmodellen und NLP-Frameworks (z. B. Transformers, spaCy)
  • Verständnis von MLOps-Prinzipien und Tools (z. B. Git, Docker, FastAPI, REST-APIs)
  • Erfahrung mit ereignisgesteuerten Architekturen und Automatisierung in Daten-Workflows
  • Ausgeprägte Problemlösungsfähigkeiten und Teamorientierung
  • Fließende Deutschkenntnisse (mind. C1) und sehr gute Englischkenntnisse

Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Erfahrung mit Cloud- und Container-Technologien (z. B. Red Hat OpenShift, IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure)
  • Kenntnisse zu DevOps-Prozessen und CI/CD-Tools (z. B. Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Verständnis von Prozessen, Datenschutz und Compliance-Anforderungen im öffentlichen Sektor
  • Erfahrung mit Design Thinking und agilen Entwicklungsmethoden
  • Know-how in der Bereitstellung von KI-Modellen im Produktionsbetrieb
