Introduction

We’re seeking a visionary AI Strategy & Transformation Consultant to drive IBM’s enterprise AI vision and transformation. This role drives business outcomes through insights, structured problem-solving, and a consultative approach with IBM stakeholders to accelerate AI strategy and deliver measurable value, fosters high-impact AI alliances, and serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

Your role and responsibilities

You’ll work cross-functionally to amplify the AI narrative, build strategic AI alliances, and showcase IBM’s most transformative solutions. Your leadership will accelerate AI adoption and deliver measurable business outcomes through data-driven insights and enterprise-wide engagement.

The ideal candidate is a thought leader with deep analytical expertise, strategic foresight, and a passion for solving real-world problems through AI and data science

Required technical and professional expertise

Lead and evolve IBM’s AI strategy in alignment with enterprise-wide priorities
Establish and lead strategic AI alliances to position IBM as a market leader
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, translating insights into strategic outcomes
Deliver compelling narratives and actionable insights from complex data sets
Define and articulate the AI strategic vision to align with enterprise priorities and long-term business goals.
Identify and analyze market trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning to inform strategy and strengthen differentiation.
Drive cross-enterprise AI collaboration, fostering alignment and knowledge sharing across business units and functions.
Run benchmarking exercises to measure AI performance against industry leaders and identify areas for improvement.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Proven experience in leading enterprise AI strategy and transformation
Advanced proficiency in data science, analytics, and AI technologies
Outstanding communication and storytelling skills to influence C-suite stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior talent
Track record of designing and implementing initiatives with measurable business impact
Expertise in strategic tools, methodologies, and AI frameworks
Experience managing complex, high-stakes projects across global organizations

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.

This position is eligible for participation in an IBM Sales Incentive plan. Actual incentive opportunity will be based on performance and the eligible Target Incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change. The compensation range listed for this position is the IBM Reference Salary that is used when you are not actively participating in a sales plan. Your actual base pay plus incentive opportunity will be determined by the Incentive Plan assigned to you.
