Introduction
As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.
The SAP Technical Architect will lead the design and implementation of advanced SAP solutions, focusing on Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), user experience (UX) via Fiori, and integration of AI capabilities. This role is pivotal in large-scale S/4HANA transformation programs and requires deep technical expertise across SAP BTP, ABAP, and modern SAP
Your Role and Responsibilities
· Architecture & Design:
o Support technical architecture for SAP EAM solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
o Design and implement SAP BTP solutions integrating AI/ML, automation, and UX enhancements.
o Develop scalable, cloud-native ABAP solutions within SAP BTP
· SAP Technology Leadership:
o Provide guidance on SAP RAP/CAPM, OData, CDS Views, BRF+, and ABAP on Cloud.
o Oversee integration with third-party systems and SAP modules (SD, MM, FICO, PS, ISU).
o Lead SPAU/SPDD activities during upgrades and migrations
· UX & Fiori Development:
o Drive Fiori app development and SAPUI5 enhancements for improved user experience.
o Collaborate with design teams to ensure intuitive and responsive interfaces.
· AI & Automation:
o Implement AI solutions using SAP AI Core, GenAI Hub, and SAP Build Process Automation.
o Integrate intelligent features into SAP workflows and user interfaces
· Team & Stakeholder Engagement:
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, consultants, and business analysts.
o Engage senior stakeholders to align SAP architecture with strategic objectives
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· The candidate must demonstrate solid leadership skills, including managing a wide range of stakeholders and technical teams and coordination across engagement streams.
· The candidate must demonstrate solid written and verbal communication skills.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
· 10+ years of SAP experience, including ABAP, HANA, Fiori, and BTP.
· Proven experience in S/4HANA greenfield/brownfield implementations.
· SAP certifications in BTP, ABAP, and AI technologies are highly desirable
Preferred Experience:
· Deep expertise in SAP EAM and technical architecture.
· Strong proficiency in SAP Fiori, UX design, and SAPUI5.
· Experience with AI/ML integration in SAP environments.
· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
· Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
· Preferred candidate holds a valid AGSVA security clearance, or must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain clearance.
