Your role and responsibilities

An SAP PP Consultant you would be responsible for supporting IBM clients in Production Planning module.
Handle day-to-day support tickets related to SAP Production Planning (PP) module.
Troubleshoot and resolve functional and configuration issues related to PP area.
Collaborate with business users to understand reported problems and provide timely resolutions.
Make minor enhancements or configuration changes based on change requests.
Test configuration changes (unit test, integration test) and support users during UAT.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring problems and recommend process/system improvements.
Work closely with other functional consultants (e.g., MM, SD, QM, PM) for integrated issues.
Provide training to end-users on frequent issues or new features.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

1 to 3 years hands on experience as SAP PP Consultant
Strong knowledge of core SAP PP functionality (MRP, Order Management, BOMs, etc.).
Experience in handling SAP support tickets (e.g., via ServiceNow, Remedy, or Solution Manager).
Basic debugging or working knowledge of ABAP (to work with technical team) is helpful.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tickets.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , computer science or other related fields.
Excellent English skills ( written and spoken).
Experience in support environment.
Certified SAP PP is highly recommended.
