The incumbent should posses necessary qualification and be certified as a Safety Manager. Should possess knowledge and skills applicable to Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) & High-Pressure Gas Safety Control Act (HGSCA). Should identify and minimize risk, drive continuous improvements and create safe work environment. Should recommend strategies to evaluate and control potential hazards, provide advice and council on health and safety measures. Maintain awareness to regulatory and organization requirements.
1. The incumbent should be familiar with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) & High-Pressure Gas Safety Control Act (HGSCA)
2. Should provide technical direction and advice and counsel to management, stakeholders and employees based on legal requirements, regulatory guidelines, technical and global standards.
3. Act as the primary interface with the executive management, local authorities and third parties.
4. Support emergency response, evacuation plans and first-aid program.
5. Coordinate and conduct safety reviews, compliance audits, investigations in various work environments(like, offices, remote locations, datacenters, etc)
6. Recognize and evaluate potential hazards/risks and recommend prevention controls in the work environment.
7. Upkeep of safety procedures for various business activities. As required, evaluate existing process and implement continual improvements consistent with regulatory requirements and in alignment with HSMS.
8. Good understanding and experience of ISO 45001 H&S Management System.
9. Work with Managers and perform incident investigation to determine root cause and recommend counter measures to prevent recurrence.
10. Have the ability to work cross border and global projects with international colleagues across various time zones.
11. Develop & promote safety awareness and training programs.
1. The Safety Manager should posses degree in Safety or Risk Management or Industrial engineerg or related specialty Engineering degree which meets the requirement as stipualted in Korean Occupational Health & Safety Act.
2. Should posses Gas Technician license issued by KGS or should have completed General Safety Manager Training.
3. Should have passed National Certification Exam that tests knowledge in, Gas-related laws & regulations, Gas facility operation & maintenance and Gas facility emergency response and risk management.
4. Minimum 5 to 10 years of work experience in fulfilling the requirements of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) & High-Pressure Gas Safety Control Act (HGSCA)
5. Good safety knowledge and experience preferred, such as safety culture building, safety management system, program design and development, risk management, ventilation, ergonomics, electrical safety, fire-life safety etc.
6. Fluency in reading, writing and speaking in English.

Note 2) Please refer that this position is Part-time and the working hours per a week is 26 Hours (4-5 hours everyday and requires to come to the office)
