Your role and responsibilities

We’re looking for a seasoned MarTech Leader to join our enterprise Marketing, Communications and CSR (MCC) team and serve as the strategic conduit between MCC and our CIO (IT) organization. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead the orchestration of marketing technology initiatives that drive operational efficiency, accelerate go-to-market execution, and support enterprise-wide digital transformation.

This is a unique opportunity for a tech-savvy marketing professional with a deep understanding of B2B software environments to shape the future of our marketing technology stack and influence enterprise productivity.

In this role you are responsible for the following:

  • Define and implement marketing’s technology vision, strategy, and roadmap; work with the CIO team and other appropriate functions to create a technology roadmap that is aligned across the revenue engine; advocate for MarTech needs to CIO.
  • Lead the strategic planning, intake, and prioritization of MarTech initiatives that support marketing and enterprise growth.
  • Support MCC leaders and teams by delivering capabilities with current technology and recommending new solutions.
  • Co-lead the documentation of the marketing systems architecture, the assessment of marketing systems, and the development and maintenance of a strategic technology roadmap.
  • Drive adoption and optimization of core platforms including Salesforce (Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds) and Adobe Experience Cloud.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives involving B2B Commerce, ERP, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), and other enterprise systems.
  • Develop plans to ensure data and process integration of systems that support key marketing processes.
  • Ensure understanding of end-to-end marketing processes and supporting systems.
  • Leverage marketing performance data to provide infrastructure consulting to the CMO and MCC leaders.
  • Promote the adoption and utilization of IBM’s current technology.
  • Keep up to date on MarTech landscape expansion and trends to provide optimal recommendations for new technologies.
  • Deliver effective change management and communications for technology implementation and process reengineering within MCC.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders across Marketing, IT, and executive leadership.
  • Champion data governance, integration, and performance measurement across the MarTech ecosystem.

To be successful in this role you are to have:

  • 8–12 years of experience in marketing operations, digital transformation, or MarTech roles within B2B software or enterprise technology environments.
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally with IT, product, and marketing teams in a large enterprise setting.
  • Successful track record of delivering technology solutions on time, on budget, and able to deliver measurable results.
  • Deep familiarity with Salesforce and Adobe Experience Cloud platforms is required.
  • Experience assessing the current state of technology and building roadmaps to guide future development.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in Agile or hybrid methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for technology and a bias for action.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Experience with B2B Commerce, ERP systems, and Enterprise Performance Management tools is a strong plus.
  • Salesforce certified (BA, Admin, or MC Admin).
  • Contracts management and negotiations experience.
  • Budget and spend management proficiency.
  • Technical project management experience involving cross-department internal resources and external consultants/agencies.
