Introduction

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our global careers site and CRM-driven communications. You will ensure a seamless user experience, maintain site performance, and support engagement through targeted digital marketing initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing updates, maintenance, and tracking of the global careers site, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with business needs.
  • Utilizing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to publish, edit, and optimize content across the site.
  • Monitoring website performance, tracking key metrics, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Creating, distributing, and tracking newsletters and email campaigns via the CRM platform, ensuring effective audience engagement.
  • Cultivate an engaging creative culture within the cross-disciplinary design, marketing and Talent Acquisition teams, ensuring that diverse voices and perspectives are valued and integrated into the design process.
  • Implementing SEO best practices to enhance site visibility and discoverability.
  • Contribute to implementing and maintaining the IBM Carbon Design System for AEM across projects, ensuring adherence to brand and UI best practices.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues related to website updates, content publishing, and email campaign performance.
  • Analyzing data and generating reports to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts.
Your role and responsibilities

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our global careers site and CRM-driven communications. You will ensure a seamless user experience, maintain site performance, and support engagement through targeted digital marketing initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing updates, maintenance, and tracking of the global careers site, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with business needs.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing or web content management.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for website content updates and management.
  • Strong understanding of HTML and basic CSS for troubleshooting and minor adjustments. Experience working with design systems and the ability to quickly adapt to IBM’s Carbon Design System and branding guidelines.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms to build and track email campaigns and newsletters.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices to optimize digital content.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics or similar tools to track website and campaign performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage design deliverables, timelines, and engagement agreements.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills to work effectively across time zones and cultural contexts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Knowledge of current UX trends and ability to drive innovative, user-centered solutions from concept to launch.
  • Proven track record of contributing to an inclusive and collaborative team culture, fostering trust, motivation, and creativity.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, global teams with flexibility for virtual and in-person collaboration.
  • Familiarity with email automation tools and CRM integration.
