In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Test Specialist at IBM, your technical skills will directly impact the quality of the software we create, and your recommendations and findings will help us make sure we're delivering the best of the best. Come work in an agile environment where you will help each iteration reach the next level. Whether the testing is manual, automated, or cognitive, you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to our clients and IBM alike. In your role you may be responsible for:

Building automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Protractor, Katalon, Cucumber, etc.
Create test data and test environments.
Write and execute test scripts under the direction of a senior tester and test lead and identify errors and validate successes for any software solution.
Identify, understand, and document all programming errors and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specification goals for the given program, application or set of applications.
Do a deep-dive and present test results to clients and project teams clearly.

The ideally the candidate should have the following skills.
Automation tester with automation skills to perform end-to-end system testing and automation,
Skill details required :
Experience in UI Framework Design.
UI Automation - Java/Selenium, BDD, WebDriverIO, Cypress, JavaScript.
BackEnd Automation – Java/Springboot, Message Queue, Kafka.
DataBase : Automation on both SQL and Non-SQL.
Performance Testing using K6/JavaScript.
Experience of Version Control tools(GitHub/Gitlab), Docker Kubernates & Setting up CICD pipeline and deploying the projects in Cloud environment.
