Your role and responsibilities

IBM is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable SAP Developer to join a team of Technical Solution Architects and SAP Developers to support the delivery of IBM’s CIO technical roadmap and strategic business goals. Specific responsibility include:

Perform detailed design, customization, development, and implementation of IT solutions that meets business requirements
Active involvement on required projects to ensure on-time delivery with minimal interruption to the business

· Develop high quality, maintainable, and scalable software solutions to support the enterprise needs.

· Leverage strong analytical skills to understand business requirements and propose effective software solutions.

· Communicate effectively with business and technical teams to align development efforts with organizational goals.

· Ensure compliance with security and performance best practices in all development.

· Have a strong desire and ability to learn new skills and absorb professional knowledge quickly

· Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously improve existing processes and architectures.

· Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.

Required Skills/Experience:

5+ years of SAP ABAP and SAP ABAP/HANA experience
5+ years of experience demonstrating functional/technical proficiency in ERP/ SAP applications
Demonstrated ability in analyzing business processes and data driven analytics. Prefer candidates with project consulting and end to end application implementation experience

Preferred technical and professional experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Broad experience as business analyst or Back End Developer/ SAP Configurator in multiple modules (SD, MM, FICO, PP, BRIM, SOM)
Extensive experience on SAP Implementations, upgrades, and production support
