Introduction

Your mission as a Brand Sales Subject Matter Expert is to create demand and progress opportunities to close for your assigned platform/brand, by leading high level, platform level whenever possible, strategic conversations and building a trusted relationship where technology is seen as a way to advance your clients business goals. You partner with your clients to co-create platform/brand specific solutions that address their business needs and drive client innovation. You navigate IBM to bring the right subject matter experts and technical resources to drive sales wins.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Brand Sales Specialist you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business. Your primary responsibilities will include: Client Management and Value Definition: Effectively manage client relationships, define IBM's value proposition, and engage key decision-makers. Sales Process Management and Collaboration: Oversee the entire sales process, with a focus on expanding new business opportunities, and collaborate closely with various IBM teams.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Prior technical experience with Business Automation technology.
  • Possess strong business acumen and effective communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in technology sales, particularly in acquiring new clients
  • Ability to communicate in an engaging, compelling, and influential manner.
  • Spanish and English fluent

Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the automation market, enabling you to consult with clients and build trust (training on IBM's Automation offerings will be provided).
  • Certifications in IBM technologies such as OpenShift, watsonx Orchestrate, and others relevant to the role
