Job Description :
As a Technical support Engineer, you will play a critical role in assisting the deployment of our data services for global clients, working to ensure seamless integration of IoT devices, SCADA systems, and edge computing solutions. You will collaborate closely with clients to analyze and optimize network configurations, manage data communications, and troubleshoot complex network issues. The ideal candidate has a robust background in network engineering, cloud infrastructure, and data security.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Deployment & Network Management:
Assist the deployment of Maximo Renewables edge computing software in clients' network environments remotely.
Assist in securing data transfers between networks by analyzing and configuring VPNs, firewalls,and other networking components.
Gain deep familiarity with the Maximo Renewables, particularly around data acquisition from IoT devices and SCADA systems, as well as platform configuration and troubleshooting data-related issues.
Network Troubleshooting & Security:
Diagnose and resolve data communication issues across diverse client network setups to maintain reliable and secure data flow.
Implement and oversee network security measures, ensuring data integrity and protection within client environments.
Conduct regular evaluations of client network configurations and recommend optimizations for performance and security.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support:
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues raised my clients
Act as an escalation point for technical issues, providing expert guidance and resolution for the operations team.
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Manage basic Azure Cloud infrastructure for client deployments, with a focus on network security and resource optimization.
Collaborate with internal data engineering and analytics teams to integrate cloud-based solutions and support scalable data architectures.
Utilize cloud and network monitoring tools to proactively address potential network bottlenecks
or quality issues.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Client Support:
Act as a primary point of contact for client network-related inquiries, ensuring timely and effective communication of network service incidents and requests.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align networking solutions with client requirements and ensure smooth deployment.
Provide training and guidance to internal teams on network best practices and client-specific configurations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT , or a related field (B.Tech in CS/IT , MCA,
CCNA preferred).
● Experience: 3-5 years in network engineering, with experience in network security, troubleshooting, and data management.
● Knowledge in managing network components such as VPNs, firewalls, and secure data transfer protocols.
● Familiarity with Azure cloud infrastructure, including cloud-based databases and network configurations.
● Strong knowledge of both Windows and Linux server environments.
● Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex network data and communicate insights effectively.
● Experience working on large-scale data engineering or analytics projects, with a solid understanding of data architecture, fault-tolerant ETL, and data quality monitoring.
● Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI) and relational databases.
● Working knowledge of renewable energy industry operations, IoT , and AI analytics.
● Additional certifications in cloud infrastructure or advanced network security
