Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for establishing prospect relationships, driving sales, and delivering outstanding client experiences. This role on the Strategic Referrals Partner (SRP) program involves supporting sales and coordinating business development projects using MS Office, Salesforce, email and project management tools and facilitating sales operations and onboarding processes. This role also will help to manage reporting for sales and new client experience.
As an internal sales specialist, you will have direct interaction with stakeholders on the SRP team and the Growth organization, with limited interaction with prospects and clients.
  • Partner with SRP team stakeholders including the program manager, Senior Editor, Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and financial advisors to deliver financial planning, business growth and exit planning services.
  • Entering prospect and lead information accurately in Salesforce after reviewing and confirming data accuracy (name spelling & contact information).
  • Continually updating the opportunities information in Salesforce to ensure accuracy for tracking and reporting. Provide SRP pipeline updates and monthly reporting to the executive team.
  • Enter and update information in Salesforce for new prospects, leads and opportunities. Monitor alerts and remind advisors of any action needed on their part.
  • Coordinate, schedule and post email and social communications contacts before and after partner events.
  • Assist in managing online assessment activity by prospects and clients. Send regular email nurture communications regarding assessments.
  • Schedule and follow-up activities after partner events to build awareness and encourage prospects to set meetings.
  • Send nurture emails to leads as appropriate on a regular schedule using Marketing Cloud or Advisor Marketing Platform (AMP). Appropriate templates and messaging will be provided.
  • Become familiar with key analytics for content assets and email performance, and social media. Provide clear and consistent reporting on SRP channel performance.
  • Partner editorial and content team to ensure SRP assets are accurate, timely and readily available to stakeholders. Submit content assets to compliance and brand reviews as needed.
  • Support SRP colleagues in their job functions as needed.
  • 2 to 3 years of prior marketing experience


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Ability to speak, read, write and edit proficiently in US business English.
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize work and manage projects and assignments independently.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with aggressive deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Self-starter able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Experience in the following tools and platforms: Microsoft Office, scheduling software, Salesforce (or similar CRM system), email and social media.
  • Experience delivering high-quality communications and reporting to business stakeholders.
  • Able to work within a team project management system (Wrike).
