Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Digital Sales Specialist you will become a trusted go-to expert. You will collaborate with colleagues across the Sales team – advising and supporting on client engagements throughout the critically important early phases of the sales cycle and helping to lead prospects to our award-winning cloud solutions.

  • Deal Closure Prediction: Predicting deal closures and effectively communicating forecasts.
  • Upsell and Cross-sell Support: Supporting colleagues in identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Campaign Activation: Activating new business campaigns in collaboration with IBM leadership.
  • Use-Case & Proof of Concept Design: Collaborating to design use-cases and proofs of concept.
  • Value Proposition Presentation: Presenting compelling value propositions to clients.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Demonstrated IT Sales experience
  • Consultative Tech Sales Success: Proven experience in consultative tech sales.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Influential Analytics: Strong analytical skills to influence business decisions.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Storage Market Expertise: Storage market knowledge for trusted client advice and reputation growth (training on IBM’s Storage offerings is provided).
