Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Brand Sales Specialist you’ll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM’s industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.
  • Client Management and Value Definition: Effectively manage client relationships, define IBM’s value proposition, and engage key decision-makers.
  • Sales Process Management and Collaboration: Oversee the entire sales process, with a focus on expanding new business opportunities, and collaborate closely with various IBM teams.
  • Field-based, enterprise sales specialist, focused on Application Modernization use cases in named accounts.
  • Territory covers Ohio Valley/Western PA geography, national accounts.
  • Objective is to drive revenue growth in current IBM accounts where there may/may not be Application Modernization relationships and revenue.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Tech Sales Success: Demonstrated success in technology sales, particularly in acquiring new clients.
  • Business Acumen and Communication Skills: Possess strong business acumen and effective communication skills.
  • Engaging, Compelling, and Influential Communication: Ability to communicate in an engaging, compelling, and influential manner.
  • Character – Self-starter, goal oriented, driven, resilient.
  • Track record of achievement, both personal and professional. Inquisitive, aspires to lean/grow personally and professionally.
  • Enterprise sales skills involving the ability to navigate customers >$2b in annual revenue. Prospecting experience. Data Integration knowledge/experience preferred. Ability to collaborate with broader IBM team.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Exceptional written and oral skills, business acumen.
  • knowledge/experience in software applications/technology.
  • Ability/track record in selling to technical stakeholders.
