Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Client Zero Sales Specialist to join our watsonx Americas team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving and supporting the prospecting of Client Zero clients, ensuring that our sales team is equipped with the knowledge and resources needed to successfully sell Client Zero use cases to C-level roles at IBM’s clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Drive and support prospecting of Client Zero clients, identifying and prioritizing new sales opportunities and developing strategies to pursue them
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized pitches and presentations that showcase the value of Client Zero use cases to IBM’s clients
  • Connect with C-level executives at IBM’s clients to understand their business needs and identify potential use cases for Client Zero
  • Provide regular training and coaching to the sales team on Client Zero use cases, ensuring they are equipped to effectively communicate the value and benefits to clients
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date content on IBM Client Zero, including case studies, whitepapers, and product information
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and effective communication of Client Zero value proposition

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Increase in briefings and successful conversions of sales of Client Zero use cases
  • Growth in pipeline and revenue generated from Client Zero sales
  • High level of client satisfaction and retention
  • Effective communication and collaboration with sales team and other stakeholders


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field, with a focus on technology sales or business development
• Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Strong understanding of the technology industry and trends
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with CRM software and sales tools

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience working with AI and machine learning technologies
• Knowledge of IBM’s Client Zero product and services
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Certification in sales or marketing
