Your Role and Responsibilities
The Digital Seller for Embeddable AI Solutions will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads specifically for IBM’s embeddable AI products. This role involves leveraging digital channels to engage with potential clients, understand their AI integration needs, and set up opportunities for our sales team to close high-value deals. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of AI technology, excellent communication skills, and a drive to achieve sales targets.
- Lead Generation: Identify and research potential leads within sectors that benefit from embeddable AI solutions, including software developers, tech companies, and enterprise clients
- Outreach: Use digital channels such as email, social media, and industry forums to introduce IBM’s embeddable AI products and understand client needs.
- Qualification: Assess the technical and business requirements of leads to determine their fit for IBM’s AI solutions. Qualify leads based on their readiness for AI integration and set up meetings or demos for the sales team.
- CRM Management: Maintain detailed records of interactions with prospects and track progress in the CRM system, ensuring all relevant information about AI integration needs is captured.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and product teams to align strategies, share insights on AI market trends, and contribute to product positioning and messaging.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on lead generation activities, qualification rates, and sales pipeline status. Track and report on key performance metrics related to AI solution sales.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI technology, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate the value of IBM’s embeddable AI solutions.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably with a focus on technology or AI solutions.
- Skills: Strong understanding of AI technologies, particularly embeddable solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and digital marketing tools. Basic understanding of AI integration and application development processes is a plus.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient. Strong analytical skills with the ability to engage with technical stakeholders and decision-makers effectively.
