Salesforce Engineer, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Perform design and requirement gathering meetings with subject matter specialist and business users for the business need in salesforce area to enhance/develop the existing application on the provided requirements. Create high level and low-level design document and data flow diagrams for the new requested application/function. Establish build and deploy standards for salesforce and SFDC SPQ application’s, develop and implement new application features, enhancements, and break-fix solutions. Maintain the applications which are running in production by working on identified defects and work items. Support the development for the integration applications if there any changes done in the external systems. Prepare and review the production deployment documents with detailed steps of deployment for the applications having service config changes, application deployment artifact and database changes. Handle application maintenance activities like adding users, changing roles/access and user information in the salesforce environment. Guide the development and test team of new age API services/frameworks with existing functionalities of the system. Validate the functionality of newly developed API services with the existing system in QA and production. Maintain the development environment for any issues faced by the development team during any configuration changes or deployment of application for integration testing. Utilize: Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud, Salesforce CPQ Cloud, ServiceMax Field Service, Einstein Analytics & Chatbot, Genesys CTI (Computer Telephony Integration), Marketing Cloud and Lightning Web Component Design. Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Engineer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud, Salesforce CPQ Cloud, ServiceMax Field Service, Einstein Analytics & Chatbot, Genesys CTI (Computer Telephony Integration), Marketing Cloud and Lightning Web Component Design. $169,229.00 per year.
